All you need to know before booking a session in Northshore, MA or Southern NH.

Booking a maternity or newborn photoshoot can be a large investment and it can be hard to know what you're getting yourself into. This blog will answer most of my frequently as questions as a newborn and maternity photographer.

Where are you located?

My home studio is located in Merrimack, New Hampshire. I service all of New Hampshire and Northshore Massachusetts. I do offer in home sessions for newborns on occasion if booked with enough notice. In home newborn sessions do not include family photos.

Can you tell me about your pricing?

Majority of my clients purchase collections that include wall art, albums and digital images. The average customer invests around $1,500. Only a $200.00 session fee is required to book. Payment is due at your ordering appointment which will take place two weeks after your session. There you will choose your favorite images and products that suit your style. Do you offer just digitals?

I am offering digitals packages for a limited time. My digital package is $525 for 10 medium size files. These files are printable up to 8x10. If you would like to guarantee a digitals package make sure to book in advance as they are not available all year round.

Do you offer discounts?

We offer mini sessions throughout the year. subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed on the latest deals.

Do you provide clothing for maternity?

Yes we have many beautiful gowns and wraps for maternity clients of all sizes. Some of our lovely gowns are available for mommy & me sessions as well. For special requests make sure to book your session in advance. Most of our luxury gowns are made to order and can take months to arrive. We do not provide outfits for men or children (except newborns)

Do you have clothing and props for newborns?

Absolutely! Our high quality props, wraps and clothing are included in your session. Once you have booked your session we can discuss colors and themes. Have a specific prop in mind? Make sure to inform us right away. Props are not always in stock and can take weeks to arrive.

How long are sessions?

Newborn sessions can take up to 4 hours.

Maternity sessions can take 1-2 hours

Family session can take 30-90 minutes

Children sessions can take 30-60 minutes

These time frames are estimates and can vary.

My baby has acne, do you retouch?

Yes, we offer basic skin retouching for our sessions. For any extra retouching (color changes, head swaps) charges may apply.

Do you offer nude photography?

Yes we offer nude maternity photography and discretion is provided.

How long does it take to see my photos?

Turn around time for sessions take roughly 2 weeks fo a viewing and ordering appointment. If you have purchased a digital package you will receive them through an online gallery in 2 weeks.

How many pictures do I get?

It depends on your package. Digital packages come with 10 images, our printed collections can have between 10-25 images in family sessions.

Do you offer raw or original files?

We do not offer raw or original files.

How long does it take to receive an order?

Most orders take around 2-3 weeks form ordering.

Can I order more pictures later?

Yes, we guarantee holding your images for 30 days. However we store them on backups and can usually go back some time.

Do you do cake smashes?

Yes we do, you must bring the cake.

Do you photograph children?

Absolutely! We understand that not everyone is able to take newborn photos. We are happy to photograph your little ones at any age.

I have pre booked my newborn now what ?

We ask that all clients contact us within 24-48 hours of having your baby. Most babies are booked between 5-10 days. Letting us know early enough allows room for scheduling.

I missed my newborn window can I still get photos of my baby?

No worries, we offer photos of babies of all ages. Photos of older babies are more candid as baby can no longer pose and fit into newborn props and will most likely be awake throughout the session.
